Fixing Blank Screens and CSS Errors

Steps to resolve CSS errors: 

  1. Make sure your Flash and Java are up to date.
  2. Check to see if JavaScript is enabled (Javascript is different from Java):
  3. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies and then hard refresh the browser page (Cmd+R on MAC, Ctrl+F5 on Windows) until your page loads up as normal.

If you find that your page refuses to render correctly and looks similar to the image above, it's most likely an issue regarding the CSS not rendering. This could happen due to a slow network, where the CSS package times out on loading, or that package is blocked from loading.

 

What is CSS?

CSS is a developer language, used along with HTML, to define how to style HTML elements on the page, such as layouts, colors, fonts, etc.
