Managing groups can feel overwhelming, but with Group Buckets, you can confidently manage your group members!
To get started, simply click on the three-dot icon to the left of the Group Bucket view and select Bucket Settings. This will take you to the page where you can send invitations and manage people.
Send out those invitations!
You can easily create an invite link to your Group Bucket by changing the permission type from the drop-down menu and then selecting Create and Copy. The link will copy to your clipboard, and you may then paste it directly into a shared message with your group.
You can also use the Invite People button on the right side of the screen to copy an invite link or share it by email.
Once a user has been invited, you can always change their role under Manage People.
Manage People
To change someone's role under the Manage People tab in the Bucket Settings, click or tap on the three-dot icon in the Actions column and select Change Role.
You can choose to switch a group member from a Contributor to an Admin or Viewer, and even Transfer Ownership of the Group Bucket. Be sure to click Save after making your changes!
Please note that you can only transfer ownership to a user with a paid account.
Group Bucket Roles
-
Owner
Has all permissions and can create the Group Bucket as long as they have a supported subscription plan. Permissions include managing the settings of the Group Bucket, images, members, and invites. -
Admin
Can do everything an owner can with the exception of transferring ownership and changing the status of a bucket (such as deleting or converting the bucket type) -
Contributor
Contributors can upload, edit, and delete their own photos and view / interact with the photos of others. They can also create albums and download images. -
Viewer
Viewers can view and download photos in the bucket. They don’t have any permissions, cannot use tools to edit, or create albums.
Transfer Ownership
Transferring ownership will set the selected individual as the owner of the group bucket and change the original owner’s role to Admin. This change only happens after the new owner accepts the ownership and has an active Group Buckets or Hosting plan.
Anyone with any role who has access to the Group Bucket can download any of the images.
Manage Invites
You can resend email invitations or delete an invite by navigating to the Manage Invites tab in the Bucket Settings.
To copy an invite link that was already created, click on the blue dated Invite Link. This will copy the link to your clipboard so you can share it.
You may also select Reset All Invites Links to reset all of the generated invitation links.
