Not sure about the difference between sharing and hosting? While they sound similar, Sharing is not the same as Hosting.
Sharing allows you to directly post the photos you have stored with us in various quick, easy, and fun ways! You can easily post your photos on Facebook, X (Twitter), or Pinterest or share them through email or text.
Sharing does not supply a direct link to the photos but a clickable link for your guests to view on our website.
With Group Bucket Albums, you can choose which photos to share with friends and family. A generated link will be created to view what was selected.
Sharing is available on Group Buckets and Hosting plans. For more information on sharing, click here.
So what is the difference?
The key difference between these two is that sharing is platform-limited while hosting allows you to embed or post photos on a site that supports embedded hosting.
Photos can be uploaded to a photo-sharing program, such as Photobucket, but they are typically restricted to being viewed only on that platform, with the exception of hosting
With hosting, the photos can be viewed at any time, and they are not locked to a specific platform or website. This flexibility allows you to share your photos across different platforms and reach a wider audience.
Hosting videos is not available at this time. For more information on hosting, click here.
