Account and Album Storage

What is the storage limit for my Photobucket account?

Free accounts are given a 250 image limit or 2.5GBs of storage. You will not be able to upload any additional images once one of these two thresholds is reached. If you require more storage (your account is full), you can upgrade to any of the subscription tiers below:

  • Beginner Plan - 2,500 images or 25 GB
  • Intermediate Plan - 25,000 images or 250 GB
  • Expert Plan - Unlimited Images

*Note: Storage limits are based upon the first to occur of the maximum amount of gigabytes and the maximum stated image count for each plan level.

How storage is calculated:

To calculate the storage for accounts, we add your original size image uploads (Paid and Free accounts both have original size images stored), and the size of any videos you have uploaded to your account.

You can always view the amount of storage you are using at any time by clicking on the Profile icon or going to your Settings > Plan & Billing.

Album storage limits:

There is a 7,500 image limit for albums. If you reach this limit, you won't be able to add new images to your album. You can either create a new album or select an existing album to upload your images.
