Accidentally delete some of your images or videos from your Photobucket account? Don’t worry! Deleted items are automatically moved to the Trash folder. From there, you can easily restore them to your account or permanently delete them.
The images or videos will remain in the Trash folder for 30 days. After this period, they will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
How to Restore the Images from Your Trash Folder
- Click on Trash located on the left-hand side menu.
- Select the images you want to restore by clicking the checkmark in the top left corner of each image that appears as you hover over them.
- After selecting your images, click the Restore button located in the top right corner of the page. This action will prompt a list of albums to which you can move the image(s).
- Select which album you want the photos to be restored to. You also have the option to create a new album.
- You can only restore images to the albums within the same bucket or group bucket you're currently in; you cannot restore them across different buckets.
- Click Move to confirm your album selection.
Important Notes
- Only those in a Group Bucket with the role of owner, admin, or contributor are able to delete images.
- If you choose to permanently delete any images in the Trash folder, they will no longer be recoverable. We recommend downloading your images to your device before deleting them from your account to ensure you have backups.
