Your Library is a private collection of photos, managed in one place. It has all the same features as a Group, like its own albums and favorites, but everything stays private unless you share it.
Library overview
- My Uploads: All of your uploads, including images from auto-backup.
- Albums: Organize your photos into albums, and create sub-albums within them.
- Public Links: Sharing links you've created for your photos, so you can manage them. Links don't expire unless you set an expiration date.
- Favorites: Images you've favorited from My Uploads or a Library album.
- Recently Deleted: Images deleted from My Uploads or a Library album. Images stay here for 30 days before they're permanently deleted and can't be recovered.
Images uploaded directly to a Group, along with that Group's own Albums, Public Links, Favorites, and Recently Deleted, stay in the Group and won't show up in your Library.
Posting images to a Group
You can share your images by posting them to a Group. When you post an image to a Group, that image still remains in your Library.
Note: Posting images to a Group is only available on the app.
On the app, while viewing photos in an Album or in My Uploads
- Tap Select
- Select the images you want to share
- Tap Post to post to a Group
- Tap Create New Group, or select an existing Group to post to
- Tap Post
If you're viewing an individual photo
- Tap the 3-dot menu
- Tap Post To
- Tap Create New Group, or select an existing Group to post to
- Tap Post
