If you have trouble playing your videos, there are a few things to check.
This article helps you fix common issues with video playback. Video playback is only available on select subscription plans. If your video won't play, check your plan, the video format, and your browser.
Things to check
Video playback is available on select subscription plans.
To see if your plan includes video playback:
- Click your Profile Icon in the top-right corner
- Select Settings
- Open the Membership tab
Check the Video Format
Photobucket supports the following video formats:
AVI, ASF, MP4, MOV, MPG, MPEG, DVD, VOB, MKV, FLV, SWF, 3GP, 3GP2, and WebM
If your video uses a different format, it won't play on Photobucket. You can download the file and play it on your device instead.
Check the Upload
If you see a video thumbnail but the file won't play, compare the uploaded file to the original. If they look different, the upload may not have completed correctly. Try uploading the video again.
Browser version
Make sure you're using the latest version of your browser.
If the video still won't play:
- Try a different browser
- Disable browser extensions or privacy settings that may block video playback
