Accidentally deleted images or videos from your Photobucket account? Go to the Trash folder to restore them easily!
Trash folders are specific to their respective Buckets. Content will remain in the Trash for 30 days. After 30 days, they will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
Restoring your images
Select Collections in the bottom toolbar
- Scroll to the bottom and select Trash
- Begin selecting images to restore.
- On a mobile browser, tap the image and select it by tapping the checkmark in the top left corner
- On a computer, click on the checkmarks that appear as you hover over your photos and videos
- Select the Restore icon

- Select a destination
- Content can only be restored to albums that are in the same Bucket as the Trash
- You can also create a new album or subalbum by selecting the Plus icon
- Click Move to confirm your selection
Permanently deleting photos:
Need more storage space? Make more space by permanently deleting photos.
- Select photos by clicking or tapping the checkmark in the top left corner of an image
- You can also begin selecting photos by using the Select button to enter selecting mode
- Select one of the Trash icons to delete the selected items permanently

- On the pop-up, confirm the deletion by clicking or tapping Delete images
- You can also permanently delete ALL the contents of the Trash folder by using the Empty Trash option
Note: Photos and videos that are permanently deleted can no longer be recovered
Group Bucket members with the role of Owner, Admin, or Contributor can delete images
Download your content to your device before deleting to ensure you have backups!
