This article explains the differences between Groups, Moments, and Albums so you can choose the right one for your photos.
Groups
A Group is a private shared space. It's perfect for friends and family to share photos and videos together.
With a Group, you can:
- Invite members to view or contribute
- Manage members' roles and permissions
- Share outside of the Group with a sharing link
My Moments
My Moments is your private photo library. It's a place for your private uploads and everything you've shared across all your Groups.
With My Moments, you can:
- Store and manage your personal photos and videos
- View any of your uploads to all Groups
- Share with a sharing link
Albums
Albums are folders that live inside a Group or inside My Moments. Use them to sort your content by theme or event.
With an Album, you can:
- Share with a sharing link
- Create sub-albums
So which one should I use?
Want to collaborate with other people on a shared set of photos? Create a Group and start inviting!
Need a private collection? Use My moments.
Want to organize a large collection of photos into themes or events? Create as many albums as you need!
