Drag and Drop | Supported file types & Size limits

Upload button

Navigate to the Group, Space, or Album you want to upload to

1. Click the button to begin

2. Select the images you want to upload from your device.
   • To select multiple images on a computer:
     1. Click the first image
     2. Press and hold the Shift key
     3. Click on the last image
     4. Click Open

• To select multiple images individually:
  1. Click an image
  2. Press and hold the CTRL key
     • For Mac OS, use the Command key
  3.  Click images to select them
  4. Click Open

The options above are only available using a computer
 

• Using a mobile browser:
  1. Select from the available options
  2. Locate the image or take a new photo

Drag & Drop directly to an album or group

While viewing an album in your account:

1. Open the folder on your computer containing the images you want to upload
2. Click and hold the image
3. Drag the image onto the album page
   • You can use the multiple selection tips above for drag and drop, too!

This option is only available using a computer

Supported file types & Size limits

Media file extensions and file types must be supported, or the upload will fail. 

Supported file types

• Images: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .heic, .heif
• Videos: .avi, .asf, .mp4, .mov, .mpg, .mpeg, .dvd, .vob, .mkv, .swf, .3gp, .3gp2, .webm

Photobucket uses HTML5. Video playback is only supported for: mp4, mov, and webm

Upload size limits

For uploads larger than 250MB, please use a computer.

• Photobucket App: 250MB
• Mobile browser
  • Photos: 200MB
  • Videos: 10GB
