You can upload photos to Photobucket from a computer or mobile device in just a few steps.

Upload Button
- Open the Group, Space, or Album you want to upload to.
- Click the big plus button to start uploading.
- Select your images.
- On a computer, to select several images in a row: click the first image, hold Shift, then click the last image.
- On a computer, to select images one at a time: click an image, hold Ctrl (or Command on Mac), then click each image you want.
- On a mobile browser: choose from your available options, then locate or take the photo you want to upload.
- Click Open to finish.
Drag & Drop Directly to an Album or Group
Available on a computer only. Use this while viewing an album in your account.
- Open the folder on your computer with the images you want to upload.
- Click and hold an image.
- Drag it onto the album page. (You can combine this with the multi-select tips above.)
Supported File Types
Make sure your file matches one of these types before uploading:
- Images: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .heic, .heif
- Videos: .avi, asf, mp4, mov, mpg, mpeg, dvd, vob, mkv, swf, 3gp, 3gp2, webm
Photobucket uses HTML5, so video playback only works for mp4, mov, and webm files.
Upload Size Limits
Photobucket App
Uploads through the Photobucket app are currently capped at 1GB on both iOS and Android.
We recommend using WiFi for large uploads. For anything bigger than 1GB, use a desktop or mobile browser instead. See our guides for desktop and mobile browser uploads.
Web
- Photos: up to 5GB
- Videos: up to 5GB
A few notes
- Video playback only works for mp4, mov, and webm files.
- RAW files aren't supported.
- Any file type or format we don't support will fail to upload.
