How to search for images and videos in your account

Need help searching through your memories?

This article shows you how to find photos and videos in your account using the search feature. You can search by tag, title, description, or general terms like "cat," "blue," or "truck." Anything that matches will appear in your results.

The search bar is in the left-hand menu. On a mobile browser, tap the Menu icon, then scroll to the bottom.

Image search is not yet available on the Photobucket app.

Adding tags, titles, and descriptions to your images can improve your search results! Click here for a detailed guide on adding these to your photos and videos.

1. Find out the common keyword. For example, IMG_ is used quite often
   • Other common keywords: 
     • DSC
     • Dates like 20120101_
2. Enter the keyword in the search bar and add a ' * ' at the end
   • Example IMG_* or DSC*
3. Hit Enter (or Go on a mobile device) and you'll see images containing that keyword
