Photobucket supports the most commonly used image and video files. If you're having trouble uploading a photo, ensuring that the file type is supported is a great first step.

Upload Size Limits
Photobucket App

For uploads larger than 500MB, use a desktop or mobile browser. Check out our desktop & mobile guide for more information.
Web
- Upload size limit for photos - 200MB
- Upload size limit for videos - 10GB
Notes
- The Photobucket video player runs on HTML5, which only supports playback for “mp4", "mov," and “webm” files. If your video is a different file type, you won't be able to watch it on the website using the video player.
- We do not support "raw" file types.
- Your file type must have the correct file extension and the internal file type must be one of the supported file types or your upload will fail. If you have a media file with an extension that is not on the supported list, use a graphic/image or video editor and try to convert it into a supported file type, then save it as the new file type with the appropriate extension.
