FaceFinder
Looking for photos of one person across all your Groups? FaceFinder scans all of your Groups' photos at once and finds every image of them, so you don't have to check each Group separately. You can add or delete a face at any time, with up to 20 faces total.
FaceFinder only scans photos in your Groups, not your Library, Library albums, or videos. It also only detects people, not pets or objects.
Note: FaceFinder is only available in the app.
How it works
FaceFinder runs entirely on your device, so Photobucket never receives, stores, or accesses the face data it generates. Because of this, your added faces don't carry over if you switch phones or reinstall the app. You'll need to set FaceFinder up again on that device.
Privacy and setup
Before you can use FaceFinder, you'll need to agree to the terms on the "Your People, Your Privacy" screen. Once you agree, you can start adding faces, and matching happens automatically from there.

How to use FaceFinder
Adding a face
- Tap Finder
- Tap the + (Add)
- Enter a name
- Tap Take a photo, and follow the prompts
Matching happens automatically once you're done. You can add up to 20 faces total. If you need to retake a face photo, you have to delete the face and add it again.
Once matching finishes, tap a face card under My People to open a "Spotted: [Name]" screen that shows how many matches were found and in how many Groups, along with the photos themselves.
Deleting a face
- Tap a face
- Tap the Pencil icon next to the name (you can also change the name here)
- Tap Delete Face
