Want to rename your Group? You can change the name at any time from the app or a browser. Only the Group Owner can change the name.
On the app
There are two ways to do this. Use the Groups tab to find the Group
From the Manage Group settings page
- If you are viewing the Group, tap on the 3 dots at the top left
- Select Manage Group
- Enter a new name
- Tap Update Name
While viewing the Group
- Tap the Pencil icon
- Enter a new name
- Tap Save Name
The changes take effect immediately, and the new name will be visible to everyone in the Group.
On a browser
There are two ways to do this.
From the Groups page
On mobile, tap the Menu, then select Groups. On the web, click Groups in the left side panel.
- On the tile for the Group you want, click or tap the three dots.
- Select Group settings.
- Enter a new name.
- Select Save Changes
While viewing the Group
- Click or tap the pencil icon next to the Group name.
- Enter a new name.
- Select the checkmark to confirm.
The changes take effect immediately, and the new name will be visible to everyone in the Group.
